Wild camping is available both for guests already booked into our holiday cottages who want a night out ‘under the stars’ and for those who wish to camp for a few days in a wild camping environment. This would suit families, couples or small groups as well as walkers on the Wye Valley walk and cyclists passing through on the Sustrans cycle route 8 which runs through Nannerth Fawr Farm.
Those Looking for a Wild Camping Location
For a beautiful location, seclusion and lots to do within walking distance, Nannerth Farm could be for you. Bring your own camping equipment and set up camp in one of the many locations around the farm. There are beautiful hay meadows, sheep pastures and riverside areas to choose from. Shower and toilet facilities including a compost loo are available for small numbers. We allow real fires in firepits and campers can use the facilities on the farm. You are welcome to hire our camping equipment if that is more convenient. Please contact us for more information.
Guests Staying in our three Holiday Cottages
Give your children a real thrill with our wildcamp experience. Tents and equipment are provided to enable you to enjoy a secluded and wild space on the farm, find wood, make a camp fire for cooking and sleep out ‘under canvas’ for a night. Options include ‘Wildcamp Easy’ ‘Wildcamp Fun’, ‘Wildcamp Explorer’ & ‘Wildcamp Challenge’, enabling you to choose the level of challenge suitable for your child or family. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please contact us for further information.
